Simple Sunday 5/24

Good morning all. What's cookin' in your neck of the woods today?
I have absolutely no plans to go anywere but to the store for newspapers and some lettuce, tomatoes, and onion for cook out at work tomorrow. I do want to get some laundry washed and hung out on the line. I have no clue what fiancee is doing but I already told him I'm staying home. I can't stand it when I have 3 days off and I get nothing done here before I do back to work because he isn't a homebody and has to be on the go all the time. GeeZ slow down will ya?!!! Hope you all enjoy the day.

~did laundry
~bought groceries
~bought DS socks online at Old Navy with $coupon
~cashed in change jar at grocery store

light housework then off to a family cookout.

Slept in til 6:30 am
Read paper in bed
Made coffee to go with FV

Want to have a lazy day that reflects a sunny Sunday!!

Need to:

Finish laundry from yesterday
Pick up turkey from fundraiser
Water plants at school
Declutter LR and entry way some more

I'm planning on having a lovely day and hope you do too!!

The kids and I slept in today. We were exhausted from working in the garden yesterday. We went to my parents for lunch. Then we drove up to a wildlife area to take some photos. Now we are home making dinner. I hope everyone had a nice day!

While I was in town I passed the local HS juniors having a car wash - and splurged having my DH's car washed - it was so nice and they were so cute!!

Am now dehydrating mushrooms - my first dehydrating and cannot wait to see how they turn out.

Time to read, then take a nap. Still a lazy day.

A nice simple frugal day
Church
bike ride with kids (unfortunately dd had a bloody crash)
wii with kids
cooked out s'mores and pudgy pies
everyone is reading now
