4/14

Went to church today. Came home and cleaned up the house a little.

We're having breakfast for dinner. Dgd asked for pancakes a few days ago and I made a deal with her that we'd have them on Sunday.

Not much else going on. Just a day of rest.

4/21 Went to church.

Had a family dinner of ham, mashed potatoes, broccoli and green beans

Had an Easter scavenger hunt for dgd. She had fun.

Fairly quiet day.

7/7 Stayed home from church today. I didn't feel well last night. Felt like I was coming down with a cold. Woke up with a backache. Ds' dog had to sleep right next to us. She was scared. One of the Church's nearby had a fireworks display. Poor thing doesn't like the noise.

Ds and family will be over soon for dinner.

We're having spaghetti for dinner. I found some homemade sauce in the freezer from the last time we had spaghetti. Combined some ground beef and ground chicken from the freezer for the meat. Had a loaf of french bread in the freezer for toast. I need to clean out he freezer more often.

7/14 Stayed home from church again this week. I know I need to do better.

Ds' dogs pooped on the bed yesterday. I think one of them had a tummy ache. She was passing gas all day. I need to get the blankets in the wash. I wish my washer was bigger and didn't have the center agitator. I can't get the larger blankets in. I can, but it's a tight fit. I really don't want to go to the laundromat. Maybe it is time to start thinking about a new washer and dryer. I'll wait for black friday, when the deals are really good. At least they used to be.

We are having breakfast for dinner. Dgds both eat really well when we have breakfast. They love pancakes and eggs.

Doing a bit of laundry. Needed to wash dh's uniforms. Didn't get to it all week. I was too busy with dgd. BUt it's okay.

yikes pets are always chose the best spots don't they. I like my jumbo washer for that reason. only have miss piss pants who likes to pee on stuff on the floor

9/15 Wow... September is half over. This year is flying by.

Today I'll go to church and then come home and watch football. Hopefully they won't cut it like last week. First it was to a more competitive game and then the story was a power outage. Whatever.

Ds and family will be over to watch the game and eat. We'll be grilling the rest of the steaks we have and have baked potatoes.

Dh needs to rest. We've both been sick and rest is what we need. I'm almost over it.
