Default Why doesn't replying to threads change my number of posts?

When I check my stats, then number of posts hovers around the same number, only changing when I start a new thread, not when I reply to an existing one. Why is that?

I think its a combination of which forum you're posting in (some don't count for post counts, I believe) and also I think the post counts are only updated periodically, so it may take a few mins for your post count updates to kick in.

Posting in General chat and the welcome wagon will not increase your post count.

Why? I have never seen a site that did that.

I was wondering why I was not going up either.

It's just the way we roll. :winking:

Posts to welcome and chat are nice for sure but posts in other areas really add more to make Frugal Village more post rich. It's a content thing. :perfect:

Also, many people join simply to reach 15 posts to "advertise" without really contributing anything. This helps with that, too.
