    Default another question...

    how do i get a 'quote' from someone else's post and reference it in my post...i tried copy/paste but it didn't make it blue like everyone else's.... i want a BLUE post too.....

    I click it in the person's post I want to quote. Bottom right. Type as usual, hit submit.

    i am just testing... so if i only want a portion of the post...i just delete the rest out ???

    yep but make sure the little quote tags are still there in the beginning and end. And...there's multi quote feature. LOL

    Because you hit that multi quote button (and it will turn red), and then hit it again if you see another person's text that you want to quote, and then you need to hit the reply button like you do when you're simpl replying to a thread and not quoting anyone.

    Forgot to say that when you click the multiquote button, it won't do anything but turn reddish-orange. Then when you've quoted everyone you want, you click the blue "post reply" button.

    now that we are on a roll...what's the 'quick reply' next to it...how is that different from just a regular reply?

    Just faster than loading another screen but doesn't always have all the features. If you want to preview your post, for example, you can do that with the traditional "post reply" or after you've typed in quick reply, you'd have to hit "go advanced" and then preview.
