Something can't be done until the admins can figure out what the problem is. They can't replicate the problem on their end. Many of us aren't having any problems. That's why we are asking for more information.

Take screenshots when an ad pops up, if you see any urls in the bottom of your web browse jot them down or copy them, let us know what type of browser you are using. CTRL + Print Scrn has always worked for me to take screenshots.

It pops up on every screen... it is so annoying and has been going on for days. I have a screen shot but not sure how to post it.

It's tough to pinpoint an issue when we aren't serving ANY popups from our advertisers. And whenever we have served popups in the past (years ago), they showed once per person per 24 hours. That doesn't mean some people aren't seeing popups, but it means we have no idea where they are generating from yet. Typically it's people with spyware. Since people are insistent it isn't spyware, certainly, it could be other reasons. We shut off image ads from one network and people still posted that they were getting popups. Because only some people are getting them, it's even harder to pinpoint.

We are still going through all advertisers and networks manually. We will find the problem. In the meantime, we appreciate being told when there's a problem and are as frustrated as you are when problems arise and we can't fix them immediately.

We have made some changes and will be making a few more changes and hopefully through doing so, the problems will be fixed. It's possible the reason some people were getting pop ups is because there's some sort of behavioral ad targeting that's slipping through one of the ad networks, so it would only target certain people.

Ok... It might take an hour for the changes to take effect. Let us know if you are still getting them.

One of our advertiser was defaulting campaigns we never approved. (Popups) Needless to say, we will no longer carry any ads from that provider in the future.

Same here so far. Just came on. IE ..it's 8:18. Normally when I go to the seaarch forums which is where I'm going now. If it pops up I'll come back. Yes, all ads top, sides, bottom...all to do with frugality in some capacity.
Bank of America is THE godfather of Hell with Wells Fargo running neck and neck. When the world ends the only things that will be left are cockroaches, Walmart, Wells Fargo and Bank of America. Not necessarily in that order. The order remains to be seen.
