questionable posts and profanity
We have sponsors here and parents with young children. We also have members that aren't accustomed to, nor do they wish to read profanity. Because of this, profanity isn't allowed. This is a family friendly site. When something is borderline, it's moved to the personal opinions forum. That forum is private to the public and members can control when they read it. For example, relationship issues might contain mature topics, so they are often moved.
While this site isn't pbs kids, please respect many of us have young children that might be playing in the arcade or looking over the shoulder of their parents.
If you need to demonstrate your point by using profanity, please be creative, we're all adults and can figure out what you mean. For example...Holy shrimp, frack or Chuck you Farlie. I use "for the love of fat elvis" as not to offend others. At least asterix out some letters. Who doesn't like a little cryptogram? Each post will be evaluated and either edited, deleted or moved.

Thanks Sara. I myself posted something yesterday that should have been in the haven & will think before I post.
I like the "For the love of fat Elvis" one & may use it from time to time.

One of my phrases is "Don't be such a donkey", can mean a couple of different things depending on whom it is addressed towards. I have 10 grandbabies and raised 4 of my own, so I always try to watch my language.

Shut the front door! My favorite! For the love of fat Elvis is great, Sara. I am forever saying "for the love of Pete".

Anyone remember him? lol This is where the term got started. That's a fig leaf btw. It's covering something that was so gross. It's to remind me not to post anything questionable.

Thanks Sara, that's something that was bothering me a bit. I can have a "potty mouth" sometimes, but I really try to

Fat Elvis is pretty nasty. I feel bad posting it even with him covered up.

You know you want to see the original.
I can't post it. It's that gross.
Anyway, think of Fat Elvis when posting.
It's one of those things...Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.
