I've been a soaping fool this past week!

I've made lots of soap:

Cold cream soap
Honey Oatmeal soap ( smells SOOOOO yummy!)
Loofah soap
Rosemary soap (very luxurious)

I'm addicted!!!!!

I don't have a scanner to post pics, but I'll be happy to share recipes. I'm starting off the easy way and doing melt-and-pour soap where you basically melt the soap base down, add various things to it, mold it and let it harden.

My sil and I are really getting into it and have taken orders from about 15 people already ( only been 2 weeks)! We've applied for a business liscense so we can buy ingredients wholesale. People are really interested in these products! We're making lots of soaps, bath salts, milk bath, etc. FUN FUN FUN!!

I'll get my recipes out and post them in the morning.

Can I ask where you're planning to buy your supplies? I'm asking because I bought my candle supplies wholesale and never needed a business license.Most of the sites also sold soap supplies.... Just trying to save you some money and time with the license..it's not always nessesary to have the license. You only have to claim income over so much money per year.

The main reason for the business license is so we can sell to stores in the area. Our city requires us to have a license for that, and we already have four stores that want to sell our products. Also, we sould like to check out The Mart in Atlanta. You can buy wholesale there if you have a license. We have bought a lot of stuff online from wholesale sites.

Oh, yea!! I need to post recipes! I'll try to do it tonight when the kids are in bed. They will probably be more coherent then LOL.
