Homemade multibean chili
Homemade multibean chili
Recipe DescriptionThis is the most delicious non-spicy chili that I have ever, ever, ever made!Preparation Steps:
Btw, I found that if you prepare this overnight and simmer it for at least two days, it's the most delicious chili. That's only if you're using a crockpot. You can prepare it the night before, put it on to cook as soon as you wake up and let it cook all day long. The longer it cooks, the better it tastes.Chop the celery, green peppers, onions and other vegetables.Level of Difficulty:
Defrost the ground beef.
Put your crockpot or large pan in its appropriate place.EasyTime Needed:Ingredients:* 1 lb extra lean ground beefServes:Directions:
* 1 large onion, minced
* 1 teaspoon chili powder
* 1 (15 ounce) can red kidney beans
* 1 (15 ounce) can pork and beans in tomato sauce
* 1 (10 ounce) can diced tomatoes
* 1 green pepper, diced
* 2 tablespoons vinegar
* 2 teaspoons garlic powder
* 6 stalks of celery, diced
* brown sugar to taste1 - Brown ground beef with the onion and a few shakes of chili powder.
2 - Add to either a large pot or Crock Pot. Add the rest of the ingredients and stir well.
3 - Simmer for a few hours on the stovetop or 9-10 hours in the crockpot.
