    I would like to try a squash soup. my sister made some and she said was wonderful.

    I love, love squash soup but have never made it. I think I have a recipe somewhere. I have bought squash soups in the box at our local health store. It was yummy.

    squash soup sounds interesting. i am going to look for a recipe. i am thinking maybe pumpkin w/ some proscuitto in it? pureed? ideas?

    I make a curried squash soup w/ cider. It's yummy. I don't have a recipe actually, I do it by taste... Cook the squash, cut it off the rind, puree, add cider as liquid and curry powder, salt & pepper, and a little butter to taste. Serve w/ a dab of plain yogurt on top and an additional sprinkle of curry power or tumeric if you like that.

    This is great w/whole wheat rolls, butter, and a green salad.
