    Default Too much leftover

Well I did it again. I made boiled dinner for supper Wednesday night and had enough leftovers for an army. so I cut up everything and added more veggies and some tomato soup. I got 18 pints of veggie soup. I also got 5-three pound containers of turkey noodle soup last week from the leftover turkey. Makes for a quick meal on a cold night with some samwiches

Awesome! I love having meals in the freezer ready for those nights I don't want to cook. Making it from leftovers is just icing on the cake.

MOM?? Is that you?? I do it too. Just put up sandwich bags of it and freeze. rip open the bag and defrost in micro for a quick lunch. Add barley, cheese, noodles or whatever for variety. Make some tortilla soup too. Yum.

Icing on the cake mmmm. I knew I forgot to make something. Chocolate cake for dessert. I need to make some more chicken broth too. The other I made (12 quarts) was so good everybody ate it up already.I froze some homemade noodles so I can just throw them in the canned broth. I'll bet I won't get another batch that was that good.

Yeah, I do that, too. I'm okay with leftovers, but my dad: not so much.
