Cream of Tomato
I am looking for a good recipe for this.Anyone got one to share?Thanks

I do this by eye and by taste.... it's very easy.
1 large (28 oz?) can of tomatoes or 2 small (15oz) cans (any kind, chopped, diced, whole, doesn't matter)
optional: chopped onion to taste, I use about half a cup
2x that amount of chicken broth
Put this into a pan and simmer it until the tomatoes start to break down and come apart. 30 minutes? Add water if needed to keep the consistency. It should taste slightly too salty.
Puree the whole mess. Put it back in the pan. Or use a hand blender.
Add 1-2 tsp of dry basil, or 1 TB of basil pesto, or chopped fresh basil to taste.
Stir in 1 cup (or more to taste) or milk/cream/half-n-half. Sour cream does not work so well here because it is hard to blend it.
Serve garnished with more basil or a sprinkle of grated parmesan cheese.
Leftovers freeze well.Stop trying to organize all of your family’s crap. If organization worked for you, you’d have rocked it by now. It’s time to ditch stuff and de-crapify your world.
If you're not using the stuff in your home, get rid of it. You're not going to start using it more by shoving it into a closet.

CORRECTION: Use equal parts tomato and broth. NOT 2X.
Stop trying to organize all of your family’s crap. If organization worked for you, you’d have rocked it by now. It’s time to ditch stuff and de-crapify your world.
