Creamed Corn soup
An old recipe.
CREAMED CORN SOUP
2 c. corn kernels
4 c. milk
1/4 c. nonfat dry milk powder
1 thin lice onion
2 tsp. salt
2 slices whole grain bread
Combine all indredients in a blender or a processor fitted with a steel chopping blade. Process at high speed for about 30 seconds, or until corn is corsely pureed. Pour into a saucepan and warm over moderate heat without boiling. (This soup can be prepared with whole, skim or buttermilk or the milk can be replaced with water and a total of 1 1/4 c. of nonfat dry milk powder.
