A co-worker made these great tasting chicken & dumplings for a luncheon. I was amazed how easy it was when she gave me the recipe. Also that she used Mrs. Traylors frozen dumplings.

Poach a chicken breast (you can use the water or not with the broth). I personally don't because I use a frozen chicken filet. Once cooked, set aside to cool. Shred chicken with forks.

In a large saucepan, combine well and heat to boil:

32 oz. of chicken broth
1 can cream of chicken soup
4 Tablespoons of butter

Break the entire package of frozen dumplings into pieces and individually drop each piece into boiling broth. Add shredded chicken. Cover and simmer on low until done. (approx 20-30 minutes).

It will thicken up alot. This is so identical to homemade chicken and dumplings, that I don't make homemade dumplings anymore.
