I'm not from Georgia. However, I've had one or the other of my brothers stationed in Warner Robbins (just south of Macon)for at least 6 or 7 years now. I'm very comfortable there and even save up my once or twice a year professional haircut for the lady down there that does a wonderful job.

Welcome!!!
You maybe able to help me. I am travelling to Norcross Georgia in two weeks. I have never been to Georgia so I can't wait. Can you give me tips on how I should dress? I am from Quebec Canada so it is a lot colder up here. I don't want to be over dressed but also don't want to be under dressed. Thanks for any tips you can offer.
You are going to love it here, lots of great people and info

shortcake, over the weekend it was about 70 here and now it is 37 with a wind chill of 28 and the low tonight will be 26 with an even lower wind chill. In other words, at this time of the year it switches from winter to spring and back again every few days, it seems.
A couple of days before your trip check out the Weather Channel on line (www.weather.com) and type in Norcross, GA and it will show you what to expect.
Hope you have a good visit. Georgia is a beautiful state.

I'm in extreme northwest Georgia here
. I have a lot more in common geographically with Tennessee and Alabama, as we're cut off from the rest of the state by Lookout Mtn!

hey ya'll, i live in a suburb of Atlanta.
PS Where do you find the best deals for groceries in Georgia?
I thought Kroger was my game, but I am rethinking that using coupons, etc, Publix might be better! I love Aldi's and Trader Joes but they only carry so many things......

Another Ga girl chiming in.
I find good deals at Ingles. Their coupon policies are pretty restrictive, but I get things free or nearly free all the time.
