Welcome to the Village Sisylou, looking forward to getting to know you better!
Sorry you are having a tough time of it. We are a one income family too and it takes some sacrifice and planning to live that way but it can be done and it can be fun.
Feel free to roam the Village and read and post.. Like Margery said, lots of info in all the forums.

I've just bumped up a couple that were really great.
all our ladies post wonderful tips, but to narrow it down, for starters try looking for Sunshine's posts on recipes and menus and the links she gives, for frugal groceries.
Read Homesteading mama's thread on how she got out of debt for some wonderful ideas on how to pull up and out of impossible circumstances.
Read Shell for some great challenges to getting out of debt and building up a cushion for emergencies.
When your back is to the wall, that is when creativity really gets going in many people.
