Not a great thing just before the holidays...

DH just was told by personnel (overseas) that because he hadn't filed the paperwork correctly, they're taking $1,000.00 out of his next paycheck.

(Can someone say OUCH please?)

All of the frugal stuff I've been doing to get us to a better place in the long run has to be done in earnest in the next month or two because of this. We'll be having a really thin set of holidays too.

He thinks he may have a work around that may solve the problem. (It's refiling the same paperwork to a different office, I think.) But we can't count on that....

That's a big ouch!!

MY dh worked for AT&T for 15 years and they didn't pay at all in December, they always held the Dec pay over till January. Man I hated that!! They did it for tax purposes and their bottom line.

Hope the work-around solves the problem and that your holidays don't have to be a stretch. Good luck!

That's awful! What type of work does your husband do? After all, everyone makes mistakes, it isn't like he intentionally did anything wrong.

OMG that is awful. I hope it gets sorted out soon. I don't know what we would do and if we could pay our mortgage. I hope it works out for you. HUGS!
