Thanks for the new forum. I am a stepmom but I really just hate the term. My stepsons are my SONS, I just did not give birth to them. I love my stepkids the same as I love my bio kids they are all my kids and I have a special place in my heart for each and every one of them.

Kathy you are so sweet. You know, I admire you so much for what you just said. I see so many women (not meaning here) that truly don't accept their stepchildren the way I think they should. I'm not in the situation, so can't really understand it all, but you kwim.

I do think not all blended families are as fortunate though, so think the new forum is a nice place to voice topics that relate to being a stepmother or second wife.

I'm sure for some people it can be very difficult sometimes.

Umm I'm DH's fourth wife but he assures me I'm also the last wife.

I believe him when he says it because we have done alot of talking and I know he's worked through his baggage and he has proven it to me through his actions.

We have a friend, who married another friend of ours and she is his fifth wife. I think they will make it too.
