I'm running low on a few things - mainly for the pets, but some canned veggies too.

I'm in Florida also and Publix this week I do believe has the Newmans spaghetti sauce buy one get one free. No limit. Hope this helps.

You can double check at their wesite www.publix.com

I too would find it easier to list what I do need to add instead of what I have. Some of these are on a replenishing round as used before expiration date.

    Hamburger
Chicken ( only because we have been using these two and need to replenish )

3-4 boxes Cheerios or Rice Krispies
    2-3 bags Splenda
    4 Reg coffee big cans
5 large cannisters Coffee Mate ( we drink alot of coffee )
12 each canned corn, green beans, carrots, pork & beans, black beans, chili beans, tomatos, tomato sauce ( been making alot of soup )
    2 crackers
2 large gallon size cooking oils ( deep fryer )
    2 12pk tp
    3-4 frozen concentrated juices
    2 shampoos
    2 conditioners
1 Arm & Hammer VERY large box of clothes washing powder
2 Final Touch fabric softener ( cheapest and works great with 1/2 softener and 1/2 water
    2 Aluminum foil
    2 deodorants

Sounds like alot until considered I've used alot out of it.

Stock what you use and use what you stock.

    Example:

You don't want or need a case of Spam that all expires in a couple of months IF you only eat a can a month OR if you don't eat it at all.

Working on my TP stockpile right now with all those free marcal coupons. Bought off eBay but considering what I paid for the coupons an average of $1.92 for a 12-pack is a good price for me. Also working on pasta that will be free after coupons, factor in eBay price, about .10 a box for pasta yeah!!!

Waiting for sales on baking supplies & canned goods - cream of soups, veggies, etc. Need to get prepped for the holidays.

    TP!!

I stockpile the things that will last a long time....if not forever.

    TP
    laundry soap
    toothpaste
    assorted pasta
some canned things - beets, beans, fruit
also watch for meat on good sales

And of this list I just watch for good sales. I will always buy tp and laundry soap if it is on a good sale but the other things I will check my inventory first. I keep a mental note of what I need when I am going through the ads each week.

I have just begun our stockpile (2 months ago), and am reading and drooling over everyone's posts & pictures... LOL. There are only 3 of us in my household, so I don't need a huge stockpile, but we are also helping my brother-in-law & my sister's family with food. A lot of ppl are on hard times and we are helping where we can. I do stockpile only if I can get it on a good sale AND have a coupon to get an even better deal.

Currently, I have in my basement pantry room:

    Spaghetti sauce
    canned tuna
    dry pasta
    tea bags
canned veggies (corn & green beans mostly)
    dry beans
    cheese sauce
    various canned soups

one of the local grocery stores had a good sale on roasts (beef & pork), ham, and ground beef earlier this week so I stocked up on a lot of ground beef and a few roasts and hams.

Our stockpile is growing and I think we will be very glad we have it, in the dead of winter. I won't have to make that 'mad dash' out to the store.

TP, paper towels, coffee, cans of evaporated milk, canned diced tomatoes, canned collard greens....and my hubby has the world's largest collection of Spam. He tells me I'll be happy for that someday when food is scarce. (I say we'll see about that.)

I've been working on mine for months. Started out with wanting a 3 month, then decided to change to 6 month to be done by end of 2009. It is pretty well done with only a few things I wish I'd had the money and or thought earlier. All of which I can get one or two of a week to finish out as I'm cutting grocery shopping drastically as of today. I will be using what I have and will replenish as goes on sale/coupons to make last longer. Things I think I might need one or two more of to complete 6 months of include.

    2 bags Splenda ( have coupons )
    2 lg coffees ( have coupons )
Juice concentrates ( have coupons so will be cheap but no room )
3 more lg TP's as they come on sale
    1 more fabric softener
    2 toothpaste
    toothbrushes

I have all this stuff but not to round out to 6 months and will pick up along the way. There's probably more I will find along the way but after looking it over this should be close.
