We added a couple cases of kernel corn and 3 boxes of Luna bars (10% discount at New Seasons when you buy them by the box) to the stockpile, and also we picked up an extra tray of strawberries to put in the dehydrator. Planning to stop at Walgreen's today and pick up 3 of the Dawn dish soaps that are on sale.

I have actually added quite a bit to our stockpile in the past few weeks. One of our discount salvage stores had big boxes of dented cans that were $6.75 each (what was keep able was well worth 13 dollars) and we are stocked up on pastas, hamburger helpers, tissues, cereal (7 boxes this week) and I have been trying to stock up on some juices and such since the older two kiddos will be back home full time when school lets out for the summer next week. (my three year old is stocked up for a couple of weeks on juice boxes cause the smaller and cheaper salvage store had her juice boxes BOGO for 20 cents each so I paid $1.40 for 14 juice boxes)

I added another Pillsbury Cresent dinner rolls to my fridge stash;
it's on sale now, and I have a $1 coupon too, so it came to $0.69.
Usually I do all my own baking, but for 69 cents, this is just as good or better than it would cost me to make.
I've spent almost no money this week: only $1.98 for water,
and $.69 for the rolls.
(It looks like I'm living on 'bread and water'.) :lol3:
