    You may want to give google docs a whirl and see if it works on the iPad. I believe it should. The actual document will be online, so not sure if that is of interest for you (you can protect the docs, though).

    Open Office can be used on an ipad, and it's basically the same thing as Excel. Open Office can use Excel files, and Excel can usually use Open Office files.

    Wow, thanks so much for posting this! We are in a lot of debt for the first time and I've been wondering if its possible to get out from under anytime soon, your post has given me some hope.

    yes. New2Debt, it is very possible to get out of debt. don't give up and throw in the towel. make a plan. put it in INK. and get started.

    Cutting back.. aka frugality .. will help a great deal. You're in the right place.

    What will your logon name be one you no longer have debt? because you will be there.. it's just going to take a bit of time.

    Apple has an excel lookalike called Numbers. It is possible to use, but I don't like it. I find it cumbersome to use.
