Prayers needed...the wind was taken out of my sails

I have a 21 year old son who made a very very poor choice on Friday and it is going to cost him dearly.

I really would prefer not to go into details but would just ask for prayers that it not be for naught and that a lesson is learned when all is done that will make this worth it.

I will say that chances are this situation will be on his name for the rest of his life and will be very detrimental to his future. My heart is truly broken right now.

I could probably use some prayers for my mental well being right now too. I was already in a somewhat bad place and was fighting the good fight...but this really did a number on me.

Oh Elizabeth,
It's so heartbreaking when our children take the wrong path. Know this, God can use this to turn your son's life around, and I'm praying that will be the outcome.

I am so sorry Elizabeth, prayers for you and your family. Children sometimes go down the wrong path or get caught up in the wrong wrong place wrong time. Mistakes are made just hope that they learn from them and love them through it. I know u will. Hugs pen.

My ds also went down the wrong road, 2 weeks ago today he decided after work to go with a friend and go drifting on a very bad road, he (ended up with bruised ribs and a not on the head, not included the parts where his friends caused him to be put in jail and on probation.

My ds does not understand the problems that he faces. He Texts while driving, speeding, so much more that it is hard to mention

Elizabeth, I know that your heart is broken at this time. Trust in God that He will be there for you and your son. Just put your faith in Him.

Praying for you so that your heart may heal and you will be able to understand God's plan for the both of you. I will keep you both in my prayers.

I can only say that I understand because I have been there where you are standing right now. But because I have been there, I also know that people and situations can heal. The scars may remain, but God is so gracious and tender. Will be praying for you.

Prayers for you, your son and your whole family. It's so hard when our childen and loved ones make choices that are detrimental to their lives. I admire how you so quicckly understood the importance of his learning from his mistake - let he repeat it again until he does indeed get it.

Rest as well as you can my friend in the knowledge that God has you and your son in his hands. And please let us know how you both are doing.
