Default Pennies From Heaven ... Vintage Poem

I found this poem in an old book and thought I'd share it.

    I found a penny today
    Just laying on the ground.
But it's not just a penny
    This little coin I've found.

    Found pennies come from heaven
that's what my Grandpa told me.
He said Angels tossed them down
Oh, how I loved that story!

He said when an Angel misses you
    They toss a penny down,
sometimes just to cheer you up
To make a smile out of your frown.

So don't pass by that penny
    when you're feeling blue.
It may be a penny from heaven
That an Angel's tossed to you.

Thanks, I love that. When my Dh passed, another widow told me about finding pennies. Since then I have found a lot, and dimes too!!. Quite often if I am doing something new and wondering if DH would approve, there is a penny to let me know that he thinks I am doing a good job.

I pick up pennies all the time....I tell my husband that it's God approving the way I am spending my money. I save all the found pennies and throw them in a jar along with my loose change.....at Christmas time I use it to help a needy family.

I've always loved this poem. Thank you for the reminder. Been a long time since I've read it
Bank of America is THE godfather of Hell with Wells Fargo running neck and neck. When the world ends the only things that will be left are cockroaches, Walmart, Wells Fargo and Bank of America. Not necessarily in that order. The order remains to be seen.
