Rough week for chefs!

Thanksgiving is tomorrow so In light of that I wanted to give a shout out to Mr Food. Art Ginsberg was one of my fav. authors who just passed away from cancer. Also in the news apparently the chef and Author of the Fat Duck (also FAT DUCK restaurant) was killed in an auto accident in Hong Kong. As the collector of cookbooks i am I am sad.

I have watched Mr. Food @ noon, since I was a young woman. I just said a while back, he's sick. You could tell by looking @ him. He will be missed. Sympathy goes out to his family. I wonder if the younger man, who's been cooking with him, will take over? Thanks so much for posting Frugalwarrior2.

Ali-thanks. he just always seemed like a genuinly down to earth nice guy. And I always got a kick out of the Its soo good tagline. I will have to make something from one of his books in memorium (after we sand blast the kitchen after Thanksgiving)..

That younger man, I never got his name, gave Mr. Food a wonderful tribute yesterday. Brought tears to my eyes. I guess he was a wonderful family man. Yep, he will be missed.
