We were going to go out because I am working till 4 that day and it takes me an hour and a half to get home, but we decided to eat at home to save money. We are having Field Roast (it's a vegetarian roast made mostly from seitan) cornbread stuffing, Hawaiian rolls, and sparkling apple juice. The stuffing and Field Roast can both just be thrown into the oven and take an hour or less so my husband can get them going when I am on my way home.

sirlion tip roast with potatoes, carrots, and onions
turkey breast
stovetop stuffing
gravy (packets - 'cause I am lazy)
broccoli
spiced mashed potatoes (you put in rosemary, butter, and cream cheese or sour cream in place of the milk)
potato rolls and butter
I might also buy one or two of those packaged salad kits because the only thing I will eat out of that list is broccoli and potato rolls.

Turkey breast if I can find one on sale, but probably a ham - a real cook-in-the-oven-until-done kind.
Baked sweet potatoes with butter and garlic
A carrot/squash/onion/tomato skillet dish
Some sort of pie of cobbler, preferably mince or berry
I'm off Mon-Fri and just cooking for me, so I'm probably going to shop on Monday, cook and Tuesday and celebrate all week with leftovers.

Oooo... I forgot the sweet potatoes with butter and brown sugar and the pies. We buy apple and pumpkin. If I can find one cheap enough, I will get me a pecan pie.

~Breakfast: hm cinnabons
Appetizers @11: hm mozzerella sticks with marinara, bruschetta w/hm bread(we eat it cold, not hot w/feta like some others do), olives, hm cheeseball w/triscuits, raw veggies and dip, sparkling cider and dry sherry
Main Event @2:30: turkey and gravy, hm stuffing, hm rolls, corn pudding, limas and bacon, mashed rutabega, steamed asparagus, sauteed mushrooms, fresh cranberry relish, carrot salad
Dessert @5-ish: hm chocolate chip and cherry topped cheesecakes, hm mini blueberry/pumpkin/apple pies with fresh whipped cream, hm fudge with pecans, hm cream horns
I'll cook for two days solid but then I get to take 4 days off so it's a good trade off IMO.~

Made Maui Thanksgiving on Tuesday for my elderly friends including roast turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce and gravy. Left everything over there so they could enjoy leftovers.
Repeated the dinner using the turkey I had saved here and all the same sides for DH tonight. Don't know what our Kauai dinner will be yet - will be shopping when we arrive on Monday.

Traditional foods for us, I'll be making most of it. Roast turkey and gravy, make ahead mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, stovetop stuffing, candied yams, corn, cranberries, relish tray, rolls, pumpkin and apple pies, apple cider punch. My brother will bring the rolls and my mom will bring the pies.

Just the usual suspects, fresh turkey legs and thighs, mashed pots, stuffing, gravy, sweet potatoes, jellied cranberry sauce. We're pretty boring.

Will be working so will eat with my SIL who lives at my facility. Turkey, dressing, green bean casserole , rolls, cranberry salad and pumpkin pie was on the menu. DH will go out of town to his sisters. She usually has the same menu as above along with jello salad, cottage cheese, and relish tray. DS will be working in a group home and DD hasn't made up her mind yet who she wants to join.
