What are your plans, once your an empty nester?

Have you thought about what you'll do once the nest is empty? Do you plan on travelling, volunteering, going back to work if your a SAHM now.

I am not really sure. I do want to travel abit. There is so much here I have yet to see!
I do plan to enjoy being responsible only for mine and dhs needs for a change!
I hope to learn new crafts, and skills.
I may look for a part time job but kind of like the idea of doing more at home when i have the space and no one wanting food ever hour or so!

I plan to bask in the peace and quite and it will be nice to be able to plan spur of the moment trips without trying to make sure that there are no sports or school obligations to plan around.

I plan on enjoying the rest of my life with my DH. We have talked about when we retire to move to the coast where it is so peaceful.

well, I'm 36 and already an empty nester..lol. So I don't think things are going to change much anytime soon...lol.

Not sure- guess I should really think on it, dd will be gone in 5 short years.

We won't be doing any traveling- dh just isn't able anymore. I work full time now, and I hope to cut that back once the kids are gone and the bills are paid.

Then. . . . . work more on my crafting for charity, and hopefully spoil some grandbabies by then.

Oh, wow, I get goosebumps just thinking about it

No one constantly asking me what I'm doing, where I'm going, what's for dinner, less laundry...oops, sorry, got carried away daydreaming

Seriously, I think dh and I will travel a lot more, just spur of the moment weekend trips, maybe eat out more often, and I may get a part-time job (or maybe not
