I turned 43 on Monday. The day kind of sucked, not because I turned 43 but because my dh really kind of spoiled the whole day for me. Long story. I don't mind being 43 considering that I don't look anywhere near that age. lol

Actually you guys seem pretty young to me! I'm 66 and still enjoying life. Most of the time I don't even think I'm that old! At least until I look in the mirror...then I think.. what happened?!! LOL Some of my kids are the ages of some of you...they are 44, 40, 33 and almost 32. I have 7 grandchildren...20, 18, 14, 14, 10, 9 and 2 and another coming in June!

Good health and a positive outlook on life are the two most important things I think as you get older. Esp the good health cause if you are not feeling well, it can be more difficult to stay positive but you just can't give into negativity. Having faith in God helps with both.

I will be 47 in September. My oldest graduates from college on Saturday. She is 22. I have a 20 year old son who is a diesel mechanic, a son who will be 18 in June and a 16 year old daughter. My husband is 47 and has Young Onset Parkinson's disease so I sometimes feel older than I am. No grandchildren yet!

(5 with us at the moment) I can't remember having the house to myself, ususally DH is here if the kids are elsewhere.

I'm 54 and still have two younger teens at home, as well as two adult children. I'm enjoying mentoring a group of homeschool moms of teens, having 'been there, done that and doin' it again'
No grandchildren yet, but I am an RN and provide in-home care for vent-dependent children, so that satisfied that need!
As far as birthdays, there's only one way to not have birthdays anymore, and I'm certainly not ready for that!!!

I am 54 and hubby is 44. We have been together for 17 years. Some parts of me feel older than older than others sometime.

I have been giving hubby a bad time lately. I told him I hooked up with a younger guy so he could take care of me in MY old age. The way he is going; I will be caring for him!
