Question Do you color your hair to cover the gray or

    do you go au natural.......

I use to color my hair all the time until a few years ago. I decided to let it grow out and show my gray and the maturity I have. I'm thinking though that I just might like to get it colored again.

    How about you?

i have been grey since i turned 24 and that wasn't long ago either been 9 years already. thanks for reminding me i am getting up there. . but i sometimes color mine and other times let it go. Then i get sick of seeing it and have to change it. but i don't do my natural color what was my natural color. anyway i do cover mine when i think to get something for it. (okay i am not a third ager yet but we second agers get grey too.

Good heavens yes! I have my hair colored every four to five weeks. I don't usually spend a lot of money on myself but, I am just not ready to be gray yet. I have the red hair I thought I should have been born with.

Gray? What gray? I have been coloring it for so long - I haven't noticed LOL. DH helps me color it and he has enough since not to mention it

Of course! I can't stand to look in the mirror at myself and see all that gray. It makes me feel sad and old. After I color it I feel perky again. LOL

I highlight mine to cover the gray, blends right in. I'm in need of it right now. Hope to get it done later in the week. I feel sooooo much better after getting my hair done, I can't tell you!

Oh yes! I color mine myself with L'Oreal. I do it about every 4-5 weeks. I love the deep conditioning treatment that comes with my hair color, it makes my hair so shiny and silky. I dye it my natural color, golden blonde.

My hairdresser says that there is no grey yet! I do have my highlights done every 8 weeks or so . I hate my mousy brown natural hair color!

Although I don't have much grey, I do color mine with highlights and root color. It makes me feel younger and brightens up my naturally mousy brown hair.

No grey yet, but I am sure that at almost 42, I am close. OTOH, my mom has just a handful of grey hair at 64 and HER mom passed away last year in her 80s with just a few grey hairs, so hopefully, I will follow in their footsteps! My hair is dark blonde, so maybe this will hide it. My sister, OTOH, had had grey for years (she is two years younger) and dyes her hair bright blonde--not what I would have chosen for her, but hey, if it makes her happy, that's all that counts!

Gray hair I also started going gray right after I had dd when I was 25. I have auburn hair so there really isn't any way to hide gray in there!!! I have been coloring it for almost 15 years now!!! I used to go and pay a fortune to have it done and now I do it myself with a little help from dh, he gets the back where I can't see!!

I go natural, I'm a blond and yes there is quite a bit of grey in there but its really hard to see, unless you catch it just right.

I'm lucky, my granny on mums side and my dads side of the family don't go grey until a very little bit around the late 50's. Not seriously grey till 70 and in the case of granny she was a salt and pepper when she died at 98.

I've had the odd grey hair show up since late 30, I'm 46 and still no more than a single hair or two.

If I hold true to the genetic pattern, I will get "wings" of salt and pepper in about 10 years, with a gradual salt and pepper look increasing over time.

I don't know if I will bother colouring it then. I may. What I might enjoy is a colour rinse that would add colour to the grey bits and pretty much leave the rest of my hair alone.

Sort of blondish red highlights mixed in my reddish brown hair.

    that would be fun.

Purple maybe???? I would kind of like having some fun with it too.
