    Default Easy Mexican Pasta

    Ingredients:
    1 can cream of mushroom soup

    1 can of diced tomatoes and green chilies

    1 small can of mushrooms

    1 medium onion - diced

    1 tsp garlic powder

    1 tsp onion powder

    1 lb ground beef

    1 bag of cooked egg noodles or any pasta you prefer

    salt and pepper to taste


    Brown 1 lb of ground beef
    When ground beef is halfway cooked add diced onion
    Once beef is fully cooked drain fat off
    Add beef an onion mixture back to pan
    Add remaining ingredients and 1/2 a soup can of water
    Do not drain mushrooms or tomatoes
    Stir well and simmer for 15-20 minutes until sauce is thick
    Salt and pepper as needed
    Serve over hot egg noodles!

    Thanks for this one too. I'd probably leave out the mushrooms and might put more tomatoes and/or more chili - but the idea is great. Often I choose to make things hotter than many people like, and seeing recipes like this help me be able to adjust to more normal tastes (or tongues that are NOT made of cast iron as my sister puts it).
