Italian Bowtie Pasta
Italian Bowtie Pasta
Recipe DescriptionItalian Bowtie PastaPreparation Steps:Preparation: Cook pasta according to package directions.Level of Difficulty:EasyTime Needed:Prep/Cooking Time: 20 minutesIngredients:Ingredients:Serves:
1 lb turkey or pork sausage
2 cups Bowtie pasta
8 oz can tomato sauce
1/3 of a 28 oz can of spaghetti sauce
1/2 tsp Italian seasoningServes 5Directions:1. Brown sausage and drain grease
2. Add tomato sauce, spaghetti sauce, italian seasoning and cooked pasta to the sausage.
3. Simmer for 5 minutes or until heated through.

We tried this tonight and it's a big hit! DS5 absolutely loves it and DS10 just needs a chance with the sauce, but everyone else pretty much gobbled it up.

got another one to add to this
sautee 1 yellow onion in OO, add crshd red ppr, lots of garlic (boil pasta in chix broth) add spinach, fresh tomatoes and pour over pasta...sprinkle w/ FRESH grtd locatelli...fab meal
