    Default Thursday Check In

What's everyone up to today? How's the weather where you are?

For us it's windy like crazy...gonna be warm though which is good.

    I've got lots to do:

    ~workout
~pick and put up around the house
    ~laundry
~plan out the next few days (lots of details I need to attend to)
~call and then gather clothes for the consignment shop (Gripey's got lots of clothes that are too big for him now, too nice to dump anywhere)
    ~call about insurance
    ~cook dinner
~watch the first episode of the season of ER tonite (woo Hoo!)

Hope you're all having a great day at your place, doing all that you need to do and having fun at it.

It is rainy and overcast here today. I am doing laundry and will straighten up a bit around the house. I am reading a great book so I will try to get some time curled up in the window seat with my book today. The book is called Crazy Ladies by Michael Lee West, it is a great southern chick lit kind of book.

Trying to get life back to normal here, having hubby home for 9 days and the county fair just really threw me for a loop! Still catching up!

    Today so far:

    Did barn chores
    swept kitchen/family room

    About to go:
    shell corn
    mix grain
run to town (forgot coffee yesterday, grrrrrrrr)
clean another shelf in the family room
    scrub entry way floor
    cook dinner
    then evening chores!

    *Drink coffee
    *Clean the bathroom
*Drink water because I've had way too much coffee
    *Sort laundry
*Prep the computer for DD's Yule present
    *After school ritual
    *Help DD with her homework
*Freak out because I will think I forgot about dinner

Not doing too much today. Some laundry, sweeping and vacuuming. I've been trying to fight off a cold for the past couple of days and I'm feeling really run down. On the bright side... the weather is pretty nice. It's sunny and supposed to be in the mid 60's today

Good to see you back KJ

The weather here is definitely FALL. It's about 55* and sunny, very light wind. But definitely chilly! I had to go to the store for milk (of all dang things) and I stopped at our Old Navy which is moving out of the mall into it's own store so all their Clearance is an additional 50% off the ticketed price. I got ds1 a pair of denim shorts for $3 and myself a cute little jacket for $9

Now I'm home & about to go make some oatmeal raisin cookies, do the laundry and clean up the kitchen. Yes it is nearly noon and I haven't done that yet

My doctor told me I still have to take it easy for a few more weeks or I'll end up hurting my back again.

This morning I put our bedding in the wash, straightened up the bathroom and my room and washed a sink full of dishes.

Now I'm resting up because I have a meet the teacher luncheon at the twins school to go to. Thank goodness the school is only 4 blocks away. I'm hoping I'll be able to walk both ways, but I've got a bus ticket in case I get to sore.

Going to lunch with a friend today. It will be good to have a conversation with an adult. The cost of lunch will be worth that alone. LOL! Then it's the typical clean up, pick up, vacuum, homework, dinner routine. Oh and baseball practice for my ds.

Well, the rest of the day isn't going to be much fun. I'm going to clean my bedroom walls with tsp and get ready to paint. I would love to have my room painted for the holidays. I got new sheets and comforter, and I'm ready for a change.

Also planning to have something simple for supper; maybe cube steaks, oven fries, corn and rolls. Pudding parfaits for desert (chocolate).

It is definitley not fall here in my neck of the woods. Played outside with the girls (baby in swing of course). Three year old managed to make a 1 1/2 minute movie of herself (starring her feet) while I checked email. Lots of sewing and laundry in store for today. Making two pirate costumes for a pirate faire in LA this weekend. Hope to be in bed before midnite! Dinner is an all-in-one box of Banquet beef stroganoff and salad. Hubby and oldest daughter better eat it 'cause it's all they're getting! LOL Better yet, hubby can make it for me, I'm busy!
