Slow start today. Stayed bundled up in bed. Cooked up some diced apples in the microwave, will have that during the week with some chocolate coconut crumble on top. Will do a load of laundry later today. It is cold and rainey today, hopefully I can get myself to do some exercise inside. Plus is that I will not be going to any stores today so no spend day here. Hope everyone has a great Tightwad Tuesday today!

Hi, shoiji!

Clear and sunny here, but 31 degrees F.

I plan on cleaning up the kitchen a bit today. Cleaned up after T-day, but it seems to have fallen in disarray (sp?) already. A pile 'o' junk here.....a dirty dish there......a spill on the floor over there. I need a vaca.

Mostly going to spend time with my son when he finally gets up today. And make his fave--red beans and rice.

I'm not moving very fast today either.

Should be a no spend day for me too. I plan to stay home again.

I have a few loads of laundry to fold and put away.

I want to start on some Christmas gifts. Just need that extra push to get started.

I should pick up my meds from the pharmacy, but will wait until tomorrow, since I'll already be out.

Should be a fairly quiet day today.

Feels like a weekend here with Sophie home sick and Kevin on days off...got to make a water run,drop off containers at my Mil, pick up space heater from friend, and start on the downstairs decorating for Fridays Christmas party...going 80's with decorations hanging from the ceiling and all that stuff...very cool!

Same weather here shoji. I put together my big Christmas wreath. I ate lunc at home. Need to vacuum & put garland up above the cabinets. Hope Sophie gets better Sophiesmama!

Cab54 that sounds like my house..

spent the cleaning it back up from company over the holiday...... doing the towels and swept and mopped every room of this house with out carpet.. changed cat litter..putting up the rest of my decorations..I have a start of a village, nutcrackers, and snowmen to put out..

leftovers today..( steak put into burrito shells with cheese rice and salsa) Christmas shopping with a list...so that is it for tightwad Tuesday....

Had vertigo today so I stayed in bed longer than I would have cared to. Must have a sinus infection. Plying myself w/ choc. milk w/ whip creme l.o. from Thanksgiving. What a girl to do!
No spend/waiting for payday day.

Today was my last day off of work in a 5 day stint so other than a trip up the block to the gym I didn't go anywhere and spent most of the day "puttering" about. I got a few things done but they weren't the normal "need to get it done today" list. I washed a couple of blankets and sorted through most of my clothes to see what needed to go. (That sounds more daunting than it was as I don't have a huge wardrobe with the last three years being a work in progress of getting in better shape.) I entered the bills on the spreadsheet and ran a load of dishes then fed the kids leftovers. Back to the grind tomorrow.
