Happy Tightwad Tuesday everyone. Right now doing three loads of laundry. Other than picking up a prescription will spend the rest of the day taking it easy. Will straighten up the place. Maybe even get a nap in. Just need to get the cat to stop screaming! Happy New Year! lol

I am just relaxing with a cup of coffee. We have a dinner to go to later this afternoon and then dropping off the boys. Laundry and dishes are done.

Enjoying my coffee. Then laundry dishes, straighten up. MIL will be over for supper. Maybe get a chance to play in the snow with dd, or if dh gets up in time might take her skating.

Happy 2013!
Went to bed way to late last night, feel like a caffeine IV would be helpful.
Leaving for my Aunt's place in a few minutes, we'll be having lunch there. Afterwards we'll drop by my parents place and finally onto the in-laws for dinner.
Hopefully, we'll be home by 9 pm and in bed soon after. I kind of feel guilty because Mini is so tired; I can tell she wants to get back to her routine. At least, it'll be over tonight!

I'm just getting up. Dh is making cream of wheat and toast for breakfast.

I have some laundry to do.

Will look for something to make for dil's birthday later this month. I. Thinking an infinity scarf.

Dinner will be tacos, per ds request.

Need to rip the bed apart and launder everything. I have new fleece sheets so I will wash the other stuff up.

Had a bottle of sparkling cider,beef dip and rented Loopers last night. About $29. for 3 people sure beats going out.
Went to bed at 2 am and sure want to go back to bed!

Good morning and Happy New Year! I made my menu yesterday and I need to grocery shop today. Also going to workout at my gym (resolution to get healthier) and do some laundry. I think I may do a bit of home dec sewing - maybe.

Today will be a no spend day(stores closed)...so laundry and house cleaning are on the menu for me...But I'm going to have a cup of tea first....have a great day!

Going to work in breakfast room today---yesterday DH and I hung new curtains and totally rearranged everything. Furniture is in place (it's a big room used for things other than eating, almost like a keeping room) but lots of little things to do.

Fixing pork chops, mac and cheese, blackeyed peas, turnip greens, and cornbread for lunch----Southern New Year's fare supposed to bring good luck. Plus, it tastes good.

Happy New Year everone.Slept late today had some coffee and read some in bible got dress started laundry more coffee.Dont plan on going any where to day so no spend day.

Ramble alert!

Went to bed MUCH too late after having MUCH too much champagne. Dad didn't want his usual share of champagne this year so guess who ended up with it

Slept in - MUCH needed - sitting here with a huge pot (jumbo mug) of coffee and watching Pawn Stars Marathon on tv - love the holiday break marathons! Contemplating a banana for breakky - not sure yet. Today nothing will get done as its supposed to be a day to relax and no stores are open here in Canada - stat holiday. Food will be leftovers for the day or nibblies. Dad's taking care of dinner.

I can't believe y'all are able to go out and shop today!

Happy New Year..hubs is making a big breakfast..I am making country food for supper..Brown beans, corn bread, fried taters, fried cabbage with a dime for good luck..yummy.

Taking all the Christmas stuff down today..I am so glad too..have a great day

Calm day here. Ds and I went to the grocery store to get a few things to get through the rest of the week. We stuck with our list. Dh worked last night and is again tonight. I have to take the kids to the dentist tomorrow so we are relaxing today!

Happy New Year, today is going to be a relaxing day at my house, parents came w/nieces earlier to visit, DDS went to a friends to celebrate the New Year with their family, DD#2 is coming over for dinner, I am not fixing any of the traditional New Years foods, pork, sauercraut, etc, it is supposed to be for luck, well mine has stunk, so I am trying something new this year, pizza in a dish, salad, and chicken.
