Tuesday Tidbits
What is going on today?
DD had (what I thought) were bug bites, 2 of them, she itched all night, and they multiplied. Soooo, I took her to work with me for the Doc to look at, and guess what....................Chicken Pox! So, I'm at home today with her, will have to see if FIL can watch her tomorrow. DH doesn't get home from out of town job until tomorrow night.
So, I'm just going to relax around the house today, anda book.

went to BJ's with df (spent nothing!!! just price booking)

Don't forget some soothing baking soda baths for your DD! Cheap and it works!
Today I don't have much planned... I'm doing some bills and have a to do list, but we'll see what I ACTUALLY get done. LOL

Yikes hope she just gets a mild case and you can enjoy your book!
Today I've gotten the kids off the school, loaded the dishwasher and tidied the kitchen, feed and watered pets, got out frozen meat for supper tonight (this is a major accomplishment!), and cleaned the cat litter. I'd like to sweep the floors, take a shower, make a list of meals from food we have already, start working on making curtains for my bedroom and fix the duvet cover, take dog for walk.

Oh my, I hope your DD is feeling better soon.

It's another beautiful day here in Northern VA. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping and it's warm. Love it.
Already today I have:
Gotten everyone up, fed and either out the door to work or school.
Made a deposit at the bank.
Paid all the bills for the month.
Washed, dried, folded and put away 3 loads of laundry.
Vacuumed.
Unloaded the dishwasher.
Made the beds.
Wiped down the bathrooms.
I still need to:
Sweep and mop the kitchen and dining room.
Pick up both DS's from school, one at 3 and the other at 3:30.
Gather the trash for DS#1 to take to the road for collection tomorrow morning.
Help DS#1 go through his closet. He would throw it all away if I didn't watch him. I like to save the good stuff for either the younger 2 or to donate.
Dust the living room and bedrooms.
Clean out/up the laundry room.
Make dinner and cleanup.
RELAX....hopefully.
That's all for me today. I hope everyone has a great day!

Aaah, the poor thing!
I hope she gets over them quickly and with as least discomfort as possible.
I remember, when my granddaughter had them - she was only 9 months old and it was horrible.
Love,
Jennelle

Oops, I forgot to post about my Tuesday ...
Nothing major here ... have to pay bills and then a trip to Walmart for necessities.
This month I'm going to attempt to [and hope that I remember to do it!] but to track EVERY penny I spend.
That should be eye-opening, for sure!
Love,
Jennelle

Aww I hope your daughter gets over them pox real quick. Its not fun at all!
Today I am KICING MYSELF IN THE ARSE for not being more diligent in checking my email*sobs*
I just found a e-coupon for 30% off each ticket for WE WILL ROCK YOU theatre production if I purchased online before April 23rd.
Whats even more of a killer - I bought the tix right after seeing Phantom Of The Opera at full price! I would've saved $55 on the two tix for the show that I had picked!
To be honest I dont mind spending the money....its QT with the bf and its for something we both enjoy entertainmentwise. On the downside that $55 saved would've paid for our parking and a nice big sit down meal after the show - all for the same amount of money I've already spent.
BTW: The title of this thread makes me giggle b/c of that bidet thread - thanks to Darlene for reading my mind aloud re: the use of the word 'bits' and what it was used to reference to....so Tuesday TidBITS anyone?Last edited by Libby; 05-01-2007 at 07:29 PM.
