Our home has electric heaters, so it's really our only bill and since it's summer it was way down from last time. It came in at £199 which covers a three month period (about 320 dollars?).

Our last one was $269. Any time it's under $300 I'm happy.

Ours for July was $142...our ac was on 77. It's now on 79. We should get our bill for August in a few days, I hope it's a lot lower.

Mine for July was $59. Same time last year it was $69. The difference is that I now have the TV and associated electronics on a surge suppressor that I turn off when not watching.

It helps to live in the Pacific Northwest where air conditioning is not necessary. My heat is electric and in winter the electric bills double.

Turned the air off today for the first time this summer. Woot! Cooler weather all week. Hope it stays this way and we have an attic fan that helps too. The bill is going down!

Mine was 165 for electric only. We have ch&a. With my health issues I cannot do the heat and it gets very hot here. Electric here is high anyway...and water is getting that way. They keep going up.

Mine was 305 and change. Our water and sewer runs around 250. (so water is 100 and sewer is one and a half times water so 150) Gas is heat only so it was less than 20 and trash is another 20 - cable is 180 with phones being around 200. No wonder I'm broke all the time lol

It's been very hot here & we are all electric, so not too bad.

I am thinking mine will take quite a jump due to all the canning I have been doing.........will be interesting to see.

I am not all electric but 'cooking down' lots of tomatoes does use up some KWH!!!

Our most recent one was not based on a meter reading - it was just an estimate, €51.00. They only do meter readings every other bill. Incidentally our billing periods are every 2 months, so that €51 represents a 2 month estimate. About 2/3 of the bill is taxes.

Our water bill was metered, also a two month period, €24.50. Water consumption was €3.70. The other €20 was taxes.

I guess I should add that we practice extreme conservation. Don't use AC, hot water heater, or regular light bulbs, only the energy efficient ones. 90% of my cooking is in a pressure cooker with the burner turned off the instant pressure is achieved, meaning I usually use the burner for less than 10 minutes/day. The huge bulk of our electricity use is the refrigerator/freezer.

Mine was $88.46 this includes sewer, water, electric and trash. Our good old city is hiking up our water and when that happens our sewer triples. Last month they said they weren't going to raise it, but everybody knew they would.

Mine for the month of August was $81.24. This is for both gas and electricity in a 1525 square foot 3 bed 2 bath single story home. It is just me and the 2 cats now that my son moved out a week ago.

It will be interesting to see how low I can keep it through the winter now that it is just me. I plan on buying some warm lounge wear so that I can keep the heat on the low side in the evenings and on the weekends.

My most recent one (August 17 - September 17) was $120. This includes nothing but electricity. I'm not too upset about it, though, because last month was HOT and we keep the thermostat at 73. In addition, we're not particularly conscientious about conserving energy. We leave the television and other lights on all the time.

Still, I'm looking forward to these cool fall days where I can just leave the windows up and cut that bill in half.
