How does the "duel fuel" plan work?
We are moving into a brand new home and are going to have natural gas but can't get that until spring. (The nearest neighbor with it is quite a distance and they quit digging for the year already - Minnesota!!) So we will end up using propane this winter. But now I am wondering about duel fuel - I hear the phrase so much but don't know at all how that works??

I have no idea what this is but my sister has propane for her appliances, an electric water heater and oil for heat. Could this be it?

We are currently remodeling our kitchen. We are going to buy a duel fuel range. It's gas on the cooktop and the oven is electric. We will be using propane, we have a large tank outside that we use for the gas fireplace and our outdoor grill.
