Things to do in Salem VA?

This weekend I am driving a lady from our church to Salem VA because her husband is in the VA there and she does not have a drivers liscense. I am dragging my two kids with me and need something to entertain them while we are there. Do any of you know anything fun to do in Salem VA?

I live about an hour from Salem and I am sure that the website above mentions it but you are really close to the Blue Ridge Parkway from there. There are some beautiful views from the parkway. You are also about 30-45 minutes from the National D-Day Memorial from Salem/Roanoke.
