Space Shuttle Endeavor viewing.
I am not sure if this is the forum to put this in, but I am putting it here anyway.
We went over to the Cape (Titusville, Fla) to watch the Space Shuttle Endeavor lift off. We took our grandson (took him out of school to do this).
It took us 2 hours to get over there. We had a good morning waiting for it to lift off. About 12:30 they announced that it would not be lifting off today. Bummer!
We left at 1:00 and got home about 5:00pm. The traffic was horrendous. Plus we did not get to see the shuttle. We should be ashamed for not going to see a shuttle liftoff before this. After all, we live right here in Central Florida (Shame on Us) Well, we will probably try again in June, that is when the last shuttle is scheduled to lift off.
I AM SOOOOOO TIRED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's such a shame . My nephews (ages 10 and 4) would absolutely LOVE to see a space shuttle launch! Actually, so would I . Hope you have better luck next time.

I got lucky and didn't leave my house before they scrubbed it. I wasn't going to go to the site itself so I had time. If I get north enough and head east to the beach 99% of the time you get a great enough view Better luck next time.....
