Where was your last vacation?

Went back to the UK in Feb 2005 for a week to catch up with family and friends. Always seems more exhasuting when I go back there and usually I come back needing a vacation!

We went to Louisiana over the summer, but it was actually to visit family. BUT it was the last time we got away.

We hadn't had a vacation in 9 years....till this last summer. Dd and her fiance were home from Iraq on leave and we met them in Seattle for 5 days.It is absolutely the BEST time we have had in years! We had no plans.....just hanging around together. We spent one day with my sister at her home and a bunch of family members showed up as a surprise for dd. It was so wonderful. They arrived safely home in Nov.
Now, since dh and I had so much fun on a real vacation, we are finally taking a cruise to Alaska this summer

DH and went to Hawaii for our 25 anniversary almost 5 yrs ago.
We went to Williamsburg before Christmas of 05.

DH and I went to San Fransisco in 1997... The last time we have really gotten away together, especially since my ds was diagnosed with diabetes... I don't want others to be responsible for his shots and his food intake... He still has problems with his numbers and it has been four and a half years.... So one day we will get away.....

We have gone to Jamaica every year since we got married. This year we will not go due to finanaces and being half a million dollars in debt (includes the house).
