Default new route option tell me your thoughts

we are thinking of taking I-70 from colorado springs thru to PA. Pa it changes to 76. then catching I95 in PA and following that up into Bangor. pretty much a straight shot here and I avoid alot of the major cities. Ill have to deal with some toll roads, but that s better than the alternatives i suppose.

Your thoughts? Anyone live along that that wouldn't mid giving me a heads up about '"hey, nasty construction here" or "get new shocks for this road here" "theres a cheap motel here"

I used to live near there, but that was three years ago! I know, not much help! Have a safe trip!

they are doing major construction around the Valley Forge exit on the PA turnpike. Traffic in that area can be a major pain. That is the only construction that I have personally driven through. Sorry I can't help you out any more than that. Have fun on your trip.

Oh, and I95 can also be a pain because of the high traffic volume around the Philly area. I know that they have a link that you can check the roads in PA. Go to the state website and I am pretty sure that you can find out what roads they are working on. I found one but it was just weather. I will look some more and see if I can find it.
