London, UK and Dublin, Ireland . I also liked Munich, Amsterdam, and Bruges.

I've actually seen more of Europe than I have of the US.... I need to do more US travel!

    - nearly anywhere in England, but London and Cornwall are favourite
    - Groningen, the Netherlands, my hometown. It's like miniature Amsterdam, without the criminality. It has canals and warehouses, it is the world's no. 1 bicycle town, it has just been voted 'best place to live in Europe'.

One word of warning to visitors of the Netherlands: the 'coffeeshops' sell coffee, but their main purpose is to sell spacecake and grass/weed/joints/sofdrugs. The coffee is safe enough to drink, but the nice bit of cake you chose to go along with that, will give you some unexpected side-effects.

    jennybethg -

Moving to Germany? Where at? How come? My fiance is from Germany and I get to go in January for visit - I'm soooo very excited. If you need any tips or advice or anything, let me know - I lived there for a year!

    Anyways..favorite cities I've visited:

Duluth, Minnesota: Right on Lake Superior, Duluth is the main harbor town on Lake Superior in Minnesota, and is also near the Iron range. Because of mining and shipping booms in the early 1900's Duluth is FILLED with old historic houses. There's also a ton to do, and gorgeous hills and cliffs!

London, England: I loved loved loved loved this city. This was probably one of my favorite cities in the world. I loved the history, the museums, the shops... the people and the accents... the food - I loved it all!

Paris, France: I loved the atmosphere here!

Berlin, Germany: Once again, I loved the history, and all there is to do.

Another favorite place to visit is the spanish island Mallorca in the Meditteranean Sea. It's a BEAUTIFUL island, full of lots of history, gorgeous beaches, and a lot of culture.

I've not travelled much, but my favorite city to visit is New Orleans LA. A pure-dee food-lovers paradise!

I would like to someday visit Charleston SC and Savannah GA, they seem to be such beautiful cities.

San Antonio or Fort Worth- Well I just love all of Texas.
    Memphis- Graceland!
Branson,Missoura- Not too far from my stompin' grounds but I have always loved the attractions
    Shreveport- Loved that city.
I've yet to find a northern or eastern city I care for but it's possible.

I like St. Louis mainly because that is where my daughter and son-in-law live. There are a lot of things to do there.
They lived in Providence R.I for 4 years and I would have to say that of all the places I have visited Newport R.I is probably the most beautiful. I loved the big old houses and the beach and the Cliff Walk.
