Valentine's gift not to get me.....

Hi Ladies!!!!
In church on Sunday our guest speaker was "reminding" all the guys there that Valentine's Day was Friday and that they had better not forget or they would be "dead". LOL! That got my husband and I talking about how I am not the like what the retail world would call normal!

Over the years, we have come up with a list of what not to get me and the alternatives!!!! LOL!

So...that being said...here is a list of things not to get me and the alternative (this is what I really want):
1. A dozen roses...those suckers are now dead and they will be wilting soon. It's not that I don't like roses, in fact I love them so... get me a beautiful rose bush instead that I can plant in my yard and be reminded of you and your love for me year after year!!!!
2.Please don't even think about getting me lingerie. I don't like scratchy lace (makes me break out in a rash) and thongs pretending to be panties that cause me great discomfort. Instead, get me some nice warm flannel or waffle weave jammies! That will make me feel nice and cozy and in return, I'll be more attentive to you (rather than being tortured by that thong string thing going where...well, you get the idea).
3.Don't take me out for a romantic dinner on Valentine's day. Everybody is out doing that. Take me out another night "just because" and that will speak volumes to me. So, on Valentine's, bring home a pizza so I don't have to cook and a "chick flick" and I will be a happy camper!!!! In return, you will be a "happy camper" later.

4.Don't get me a card and just sign "Love, Jeff". Write me a love note. Tell me how you feel!
5. Finally, I'll rub your back if you rub my feet!!!! Pure heaven!

mine would be..please for that one day, don't talk about what you did at work all day. He details cars, its the same thing over and over and over and over and over...wel you get the picture..lol.

I am weird in that in additon to the rose bush I would love to have some of those "dead" roses.

Just because all I ever get is "happy valentines day" and a kiss. I take that back. I did get dinner made for me once...then I cleaned the dishes. Oh well, he tried. LOL. ( Better than the electric razor I didn't ask for on my birthday)

On Dr. Phil today he had the best idea. Robin loved it. He made a book of poems he wrote one for each year that they were married. Complete with photos. I thought that was so sweet. (never happen here) but hey i could do something like that for their 18th birthdays. God i am creative. LOL

NO chocolate!!!!!LOL I think they have valentines day at the worst time of the year.1 1/2 months into everyones diets.I would be just as happy to have dh put the kids to bed early and sit and watch a movie with him.WIth out the chocolate.
