    Default Wonderful Wednesday!

Good morning to all. Not alot going on here today (thank goodness, I need a break), except the usual everyday routine. Up at 3:30, made breakfast for dh and saw him off to work. I didn't sleep well last night, so I grabbed a blanket, my pillow and my alarm clock and laid on the couch in the livingroom and watched a bio on Grace Slick, lead singer of Jefferson Airplane and Jefferson Starship. WooHoo, in her day, she made Courtey Love look like Mother Teresa, LOL! Fell asleep and got up at 6 and made breakfast for dd and then drove her to school. Got back home, fed critters and now I'm here with my second cup of coffee.

Will finish laundry (just a small white load).

Make a list of the few things to pick at store this afternoon to make casserole and cake for ladies Christmas party at church tomarrow night.

    Wrap $5 gift for party.

Make a few phone calls to check on a few people at church who are sick.

Get two more packages ready to mail and drop them by P.O. when I run to
pick up dd from school at noon today.

Home to start a early supper.

    Church

    Bed early I think (Hope).

I have to work this afternoon. I am going to prepare chili in the crockpot for our supper. I have already cleaned the toilets and gathered up all the trash. I need to make my bed, vacuum and get ready for work.

Well, it's my half day today, so I'm off at 11. I'm going to leave ds at daycare so that I can run errands and clean my house.

    Here's my list:

    return library books
go to Kohl's get new sweaters.
    clean my house
    do laundry
    make beef stew for dinner
do homework so that I don't have to pull another all nighter

I folded the white clothes that were in the dryer so there is no laundry to worry about tonight. I got Chili started in the crock pot. Hopefully I will finally get to the bank this afternoon (DS was sent home- it's strep so I spent most of yesterday taking care of all that).
Tonight we are going to take our christmas fund and hit the 50% off sales. I am a secret santa for some folks the company adopted at a long term care facility. I figured I could pick up the socks and sweaters on the sale.
Got the Christmas cards signed and sealed- just need to box with gifts or stamp and drop off.

Good frigid morning from NH!!! LOL
I'm going to try a new tactic for my housecleaning. Instead of my usual, I do this on Monday, this on Tuesday, etc. I'm just going to list everything that needs to be done during the week and then just check it off as I go. Even though it's mid week, I'm starting today as some of the stuff I've already done anyway. I'm also going to list a monthly list at the beginning of the month for stuff that only needs to be done once a month.

So far today though I have done my morning routine and 2 loads of laundry are washed & hanging to dry.

Here's my weekly list & monthly:
    Put more Christmas decorations up
Sign & address more Christmas cards
    Make cheesecake
Put a movie in the mailbox
    Wash throw rugs
Clean all windows, doors, mirrors, tv & computer screens
    Mop entryway floor

    THIS WEEK:
    Kitchen:
    Thoroughly clean counters
    Scrub sink
    Clean range hood
    Wipe outside of fridge
    Wipe down cabinet fronts
    Clean top of fridge
    Clean appliance exteriors
    Wipe inside of oven
    Clean microwave
    Clean toaster oven
    Flush sink w/boiling wtaaer
    Clean light fixture
    Wash trashcan
    Mop floor
    Clean coffeemaker

    Diningroom:
    Dust surfaces & objects
    Clean chandelier
    Mop floor

    Livingroom:
    Vacuum couch
    Dust surfaces/objects
    Clean light fixture
    Mop floor

    Office:
    Sort bills & paperwork
    Dust surfaces/objects
    Clean light fixture
    Empty trash
    Dust bookcase

    Bedroom:
    Dust surfaces/objects
    Clean light fixture

    Bathrooms:
    Clean toilets
    Clean bathtubs/shower
    Clean light fixtures
    Empty trashcans
    Mop floors

    THIS MONTH:
    Wash kitchen ventilation hood filters
Launder duvet covers, mattress pads & shams
    Wipe tub & shower surrounds
    Scrub grout
    Wipe insides of medicine cabinets
    Dust closet shelves
    Vacuum closet floors & baseboards
    Vacuum laundry room floor
    Wash laundry room trashcan
    Wash curtains
    Wipe down moldings & windowsills
    Dust ceiling fans
Wipe interior & exterior doors & trim
    Wipe switch plates
    Wipe telephones
Flush drains with vinegar, boiling water & baking soda

DD is staying after school for extra help, so I need to go pick her up around 3. But, that is the only thing I need to run out to do.

Well, I'm periodically checking posts, so I'm going to move on & check a few more and then back to work!!

I hope everyone has a great day!

Hi all! I am off from work today! Got all my presents wrapped and hidden! Did some laundry, have dinner on the stove already cooking. Gotta pick up my puppy from the vet (he was getting fixed today).

    ~ran the dishwasher

    Still need to:

~wash, dry, FOLD, put away laundry
    ~vacuum
~take ds to Holiday Concert tonight
    ~make bed

I hear you on the already afternoon part. I'm just bummed that I missed three of the four Allure giveaway this month (first so many people starting at noon) and today's contest still isn't open at 1:32pm - I can't believe I spent an hour refreshing the page to get in!

    So far:
*Moved DS's changing table and diapering supplies out of our bedroom and into the living room/nursery
*Moved all of the stuff we got for DS that hasn't been opened yet into our linen closet so that it is out of the way
*Took out 4 bags of trash, two cardboard boxes full of trash, and a ripped diaper bag full of trash. I needed to make 6 trips with DS just to my car so we could drive it to the dumpster! There's my exercise for the day.
    *Showered, dressed, put on makeup
    *Cleaned the cat box

    Left on my list:
*Two more loads of laundry (will start this after I finish reading FV)
*Figure out what to make for supper with leftover turkey
    *Start turkey soup

I have a whole list of errands that I need to run, but after carrying all that trash I'm just too tired. I'm hoping to get to them tomorrow.

Well I went to work today. Was there for 3 whole hours until my supervisor felt my forehead, had me take my temp. I STILL have a low grade fever (and feel like crap.) She sent me home (with the thermometer b/c I don't have one.) I felt bad b/c the person who covers for me got slammed with work yesterday, now she has to cover for me again. When we cover for each other we have to do twice the work. She said, 'quit apologizing!' LOL. Oh well, I tried!

ETA: One other person called in this a.m. b/c one of her kids are sick, and someone else left sick right before me, so I really hated leaving them that much more shorthanded. So they're down 3 people which is alot. Hence the guilt
