    Smile My October freebies

    1. One medium-sized Ziploc plastic bag with 7 pieces of "corn-kernel candy" in it. I got this from the candy dish at the post office while I was posting a coupon envie. (The clerk had plastic-bagged all the candy because of H1N1 Mania, so the bag was an extra bonus. Usually, people take only 1 piece of candy from the dish, but a single piece of corn-kernel candy must have looked strange inside a plastic bag, so she upped it to a total of 7 pieces.)

    2. A pink carnation flower from the post office; they were giving them away to promote cancer awareness.

    3. 2 envelopes full of coupons that I ordered from Save.ca and Brandsaver.

About 10 cases of overripe bananas, a mixed case of apples and pears, some tomatoes (won't use those, we grow our own and they are much better), several hunks of watermelon and muskmelon, numerous bunches of cilantro, several meals worth of broccoli. Gave some away but not many folks came over this week for it.
