where do you live madjen? I was just going to donate the instant to the food bank, I don't know anyone that will use it - I can see if they will fit inside a flat rate box? That's $10 to ship - want to trade?

Oh, it's instant DECAF - uck.
Makes sense. Now I'm wondering if the locked ones are just pharmacy trash/shred. I've honestly never gotten close, just know that they are locked and fenced in.

Thanks for the offer but DH will only drink regular coffee since he doesn't drink sodas.

My bf just sent me a case of handwarmers for emergencies!! I put some in the car and some in the small critter room. I had mentioned I needed some sort of backup plan for the small critters in case the power goes out. I have a space heater, microwaveable heating disks, but if power goes out neither helps much.

Sooooo.... I've been MIA for two days ... I've been spending far too much time hunting dumpster goodies!

All said, I've dived in 5 dumpsters & you wouldn't believe the amount of Christmas stuff they THROW AWAY!

I've got plans for much of it, including Toys 4 Tots, Food Pantry, Friends & Family -

Here's a pic of JUST ONE haul from a store - all still in the trash bags -

I can't even phathom making a complete list... but I can tell you an idea of what one of our common name corporations considers TRASH -

and remember: this stuff is NEW, still in packaging, in the dumpster....

    wrapping paper
bows (lots & lots of bows)
    ribbon
    gift tags
    gift bags
    snow globes
    ornaments
    stuffed snoopy dogs
stuffed reindeer ( I put together a FULL set including Rudolph to use as a gift next year)
    garland
    remote control dinosaur toys
iZONE tv game system (5 of these)

that's all I can think of off the top of my head, I'll post more pics though so you can get an idea of the WASTE.

    just wow.
