Default What did you get for free in November 2012?

Yay, I get to start the thread again!

Today I checked out our new Wegmans... they were offering free eggs and free bread with a $10 purchase, as well as a free reusable shopping bag and bottle of "basting oil" (grapeseed and canola with thyme, garlic and parsley) when you signed up for the shopper's card (which you needed for the other deals anyway).

After school, DD5 was whining she was hungry (of course), so we stopped in at McD's and used our monopoly prize coupons for a free medium fries and free smoothie.

I got the target beauty bag. Some nice samples and my daughter wanted a makeup bag so that was nice. So far that's all but I plan on dumpster diving this weekend for coupons so I am sure I will have more to tell. Lol!

two free hotel stays on the way south. Residence Inn and Fairfield Inn. With free breakfast, of course!! And the first one was in the middle of the hurricane, so I got a free flashlight in case the lights went out.

Yesterday I stopped in at a different grocery store that is trying to compete with the new one and also offering freebies. Last week they were out of the "deal of the week," so yesterday I got the new ones for this week, plus used my raincheck for the other items. I got:

    -1 lb real butter
    -5 lb white flour
-1 roll paper towels (good brand, too!)
-2 24 oz bottles of dish soap.

Had to spend $15 to get the freebies, but I had coupons, so I was able to get about 12 lbs of fruit (pears, tangerines, strawberries) and 14 cups of yogurt... I was very pleased with myself.

    My first post!

Today I got a free Whole Foods brick oven style frozen pizza. It was a Facebook offer, good today only, worth $5.99.
