Picked up two cute little calendars today at my Lawtons drug store -- perfect for using as a purse calendar, and one for my control journal. :)

garnier something on a card (maybe face cream, can't remember)
bag with 7-8 nice sized samples of Mario Badescu facial products--can't wait to try them
Got a great coupon envelope as well as two free magazines.
still getting martha stewart living mag, supposed to until Oct '13, have no idea why
sample ground coffee
sample face tint<---I guess that's what it is
used my register rewards to buy
gallon milk
16# sugar
full size toothpaste
Used copies of 101 Dalmations (the original cartoon version) and Judy Moody... more abandoned property found in the cabinets of the office. The kids were watching "Dalmations" on the way home, but I'm considering putting it on Ebay after they're done, since copies are going for $5-$20 right now (I'm not sure I'd call mine "like new" so probably not the higher end of that...)
Today my MIL and FIL stopped by to visit and drop off some goodies. MIL just got back from Hawaii and she brought:
- T-shirt for DH
- scarf for me
- awesome bag for me
- two dresses for DD
- a lei for DD
- pajamas for DD
- a bunch of coupons for me (including two FPCs!)
- free magazine (lots of coupons!)
- and a box of samples
We had a Christmas last night, and MIL made a big pot of chili for supper. Nobody wanted the leftovers so we brought them home. It's a huge crockpot bag full - MIL put the bag in a pot and told me the pot is in bad shape and to just toss it when once we get the chili in another container. The pan is in decent shape, the bottom just has burnt on stuff in it. I'll keep it for a use other than cooking. Not sure what yet though.
Rhayne, the Smores Brownies are *EXQUISITE*!!! Thank you! They were even semi-frugal, as I have plenty of graham crackers leftover from summer, brownie mixes, and I *SHOULD* have had some marshmallows in the pantry, too, but it turns out the rats (one is 5 and one is 9, and they are commonly mistaken for little girls, but I know better) had stolen them all. So I did have to pick some of those up at the store while I was out. I mixed chocolate chips into the brownie batter and topped with crumbled milk chocolate on top before baking... yummy!! Thanks again!
So as for free stuff, I got the Home Depot $25 gift card from MCR yesterday and the $50 Southwest GC today. Very geeked about that. I saved my points (and anyone else's I found in the trash, for that matter) for a whole year for this promotion, and it's been really worthwhile. I have just enough points to try for the Free 12-pack coupons on the 12th, but those will probably be very popular and run out quickly.
Hubby's parents stopped by yesterday with a brand new ladder -- an early Christmas gift.
I used membership credits at Audible at the right time last month and got a $20 coupon. I used it to pick up two sale audiobooks and still have $8 left to spend. They're running a lot of sales right now, so I'll use it there, or pick up something on my wishlist - I have three or four titles that run $9-10, so they would be almost free.
I won a gallon of Terro Bug Spray! They are shipping it to me. It is great stuff. I spray around the perimeter of my house every month or so. When the weather changes or it rains those BIG roaches like to come in the house. I would much rather find them "legs up" (dead) outside than alive in the house.
I got a free turkey. Local grocery store had frozen turkeys BOGO.
This past week I've received:
Silver colored shaker (black and mild)
Stella Artois Chalice (very nice)
Lean Cuisine Salad Toppers Coupon (bzz agent bzz kit) and 5coupons for $1 off to share
Cerra Fragrance cards
Betty Crocker 203 calendar
