I got a whole bunch of free stuff and I wish it could be otherwise - BG - a friend down here where we stay for the winter is having to leave early to go home for medical treatments unexpectedly. She is giving me what she does not want to carry back. I would give it all up to have her back to being healthy.
PS - can you please include her in your prayers, her name is Karen and she needs a healing from cancer. Thanks.

Default Tons of free food in one day!

Today has been a day of free food at work. First a program down the hall ordered WAY too much breakfast so I got:

    an apple danish
    a cream cheese danish
a large cup of orange juice

then a lunch meeting had an extra boxed lunch so I got

a ham and cheese sandwich (with lettuce and tomatoes)
    an apple
    two cookies
    a bag of chips
    a bottle of water

    Yay!

ed. to add: program that had too much for breakfast had way too much for lunch as well, got a free whole pizza, bag of chips, bottle of water and a canned coke! Now I don't have to fix dinner either!

Yesterday used a free mcr sparkling 12 pack coupon for a free 12pk of cokes and by purchasing 6 lean cuisines I got a free 6ct box of skinny cow icecream sandwiches...I wish I'd thought to separate my order into two, since I bought 16 lean cuisines, I could have gotten 2 boxes of icecream free. Only food freebies so far this year but I'm NOT complaining!

Today I picked up a 12 pk of rootbeer with my coke rewards
    a good n natural bar
2 tubs of Nutrish dog food
    a can of cat food
    airborne samples
    reach dental floss

Tomorrow will be a free lunch with my parents. I convinced them to stop taking everyone out to lunch every month and only do it on their birthdays. It's my niece's birthday, so my parents are treating. I usually pay the tip to contribute to the cost. I'm very aware of how much my meal is and try to go as cheap as possible. Wish the rest of the clan would do the same.

Today was an AWESOME freebie day at CVS. I'm pretty geeked. I got:

-2 schick pro-fusion shave gels for DH (smallish, but FREE!)
    -1 12-pack coke zero
-2 colgate whitening toothpaste (7.6 oz, the big ones)
-1 8-pack Duracell AA batteries (DD5 has been begging, and Hubs whines when I buy the DollarTree ones)
    -1 2-liter coke zero

See, THIS is why we coupon! YAY!!!!

Today I price matched Lindsay olives to $0.99 and used 2 coupons for $1 off. Got the olives free with a 2 cent overage.

I was hoping to get the Jenni-O turkey bacon for free, but my dollar tree doesn't have it. Took several $1 off coupons to dollar tree, but they don't carry any of those items either.

I got some free books for my kindle at Amazon. Of course they know what they are doing by offering them...I saw some that I wanted to buy, too, but I resisted the temptation!
