    slow month, eh?

Got a big fabric cutting board and a rotary cutter. But the board does not have any markings on it (inches), just plain. I just cut with scissors. But I will keep them as they may be useful sometime. I guess I need the ruler next.

Box of dishwasher detergent, I don't have a dishwasher but I use it for cleaning other things.

It's been a huge freebie month for us! My mom is cleaning out her house. Of course, if you count the hours of labor we're putting in helping her with it, it's all pretty costly. But so far, she's given us:

    ~an antique oak bookcase secretary.
    ~a maple office desk.
    ~a handmade, antique corner cabinet.
    ~seven cookbooks.
    ~assorted craft books.
~an infant's wardrobe for storage in my sewing room.
~assorted fabric, patterns, and sewing notions.
~an antique oak parlor cabinet sewing machine.
~several new rag rugs woven on a loom by my grandma.
~a bunch of other things I can't remember now.

Cleaning out a relative's house is the gift that keeps on giving. We'll be getting a lot more stuff in the next month or so.

-2 Movie tickets (won them on the radio)

*Lost and found donation day at school, teachers are allowed to go through what is about to be donated to Goodwill (the students are given many, many, many reminders to look through it before donation day), yielded:
-6 pairs of uniform pants for my son for next year
    -lunchbox
-New Aeropostale man's top (gave it to my brother in law)
    -makeup bag for my daughter

-Free hotel room in Madison Square Garden, NYC for next weekend (my sister's 30th birthday excursion)
-2 giant packs of fruit snacks and a large pack of goldfish crackers (left over after proctoring national testing for my students)
-Free box of spring bulbs to plant from my neighbor
-Free class to update my teaching certification (had no idea my school would pay for this and was VERY happy to find out)
-Free teaching supplies including 5 large boxes of music books, CDs, pencils, pens, dry erase markers, graph paper, index cards, notebook paper and even some freebies I shared like books on instruments I don't currently teach. (A local music school calls me to pick up items when retired teachers bring in items to donate that they can't use)

-scarves and accessories from my mother that I plan to use as my swap items for an accessory swap party I'm having at my house

-2 boxes of "Crackerfulls" (from my mom again as snacks for my kids)

Free stuff is my favorite kind of stuff I think I've got good freebie mojo because I give away quite a bit of stuff as well.
