The only free thing so far is dental floss. I have some coupons and if I price match, I'll get 6 free deoderants. If you want to count tax free day, I got some school supplies for some school packs we are doing at church. I price matched many items I got 4 packs of crayons for what I would have paid in taxes. I did get $10 Kohls cash too.

Today I got two packages of pens that I will donate to a school supply drive. I actually made $1 by price matching. I also got two packages of frozen chopped onions and green peppers. I wanted to get some deodorant, free after coupons and price matching, but they were out of it.

I got three more zucchini from my parents. Gave 2 to ds and dil.

3 ultrasonic pest repellent units, they go for $50 new! (mine are used) plus 3 smaller ones. I am hoping they delete the earwigs along with the mice.

They get very mixed reviews on Amazon, almost equally divided between 5 star and 1 star.

Last night I was running the babysitting for a work party, and when it was all over, I was left with 2 whole pizza, about 22 chicken nuggets, about a quart of fruit cocktail, some cooked carrots, and a bunch of carrot and celery sticks.

Gave the pizza to my nephew when I ran my niece (also babysitting) home last night, we had the nuggets for lunch along with some fruit... trying to decide what to do with the rest. It's too much to just eat as-is, so some creativity will definitely be required.

While she was over, my niece was admiring one of my painted bookshelves and said she wanted one just like it, so today I picked up my free quart of paint from ACE and will set that aside for that project... I've decided to buy here the shelving unit for Chrirstmas (basic Target modular thing) and give her the paint to go with it... she can build in and do most of the painting, and I'll help her with the really artsy stuff.

Just took a trip to the landfill to drop off this weeks garbage and recycling and visited the reuse pile and found a fishing pole in really good condition, with the reel attached still! Also a Halloween jack-o-lantern lamp new with tags and in the plastic still.

Also did my weekly shopping this morning and got my reward card alaska airlines miles when I spent $250 bucks (cumulative, not today's total...eep!).

Last night a neighbor with chickens gave me a dozen eggs and said I can have one of her chickens if I promise to raise it for eggs and not eat it I don't have a coup yet but I'm now seriously considering it. Will have to research if buying and shipping in feed is cost effective enough for eggs.
