Bank of America is THE godfather of Hell with Wells Fargo running neck and neck. When the world ends the only things that will be left are cockroaches, Walmart, Wells Fargo and Bank of America. Not necessarily in that order. The order remains to be seen.

Kohl's sent another $10 GC so I bought these, retail $22, on sale for $14.99 so I paid $4.99 OOP:

I usually wear flip flops around the house but now that winter has arrived, I want something cozy on my toes .

Today was an AWESOME freebie day... DD6 wanted a Doc McStuffins Dr kit, and I had some points from Kmart... they gave me $15.00 in free points over the last week or two, plus 3 or so I "earned" plus another 5 I "earned" through a deal they were doing... so I went to Kmart (classy, I know...) and got that, some chocolate cherries for Sis and two boxes of After Eight mints, one for Sis and one for me (it's a family tradition to get those in your stocking)... Grand total $29 ish...

I wasn't expecting them to say my total was "four cents"

Turns out they gave me ANOTHER $5 this morning... yay! and the BEST part was that I had a coupon from Black Friday, and they kicked me back ANOTHER $10 which I now can use for something ELSE!

Pay $.04 for 3 boxes of candy and a $22 toy, get $10 back. Yep, that's *MY* kinda deal! ;D

A not working sewing machine from the DIL and son. She told me if I got it working to keep it or donate it, she did not care which.
After reading the directions over. I hate reading directions btw, I finally got it working this morning. Machine looks like new in original box. Brother CE 4000 computerized.
    Information on this machine is......
    Product Information
CE-4000 computerized sewing machine. Explore your creativity with features such as 40 built-in decorative, utility, heirloom and quilting stitches, 5 styles of one-step, auto-size buttonholes, super wide (7mm) decorative stitches and drop-feed for free-motion quilting. Easy-to-use features such as an automatic needle threading system, drop-in bobbin, electronic foot control and brightly lit sewing area make the CE-4000 a joy to use.

I still like my heavy old work horse slant a matic Singer better. But then again, I have not sewed yet with this machine. Maybe I better do a little light mending with it. Maybe.....

MCR is doing their big holiday thing, and the items I have been waiting for finally came up, so I got a $25 Home Depot Gift Card that I will put towards next year's garden and just now a $50 GC to Southwest Airlines. I still have the one from last year (forgot to use it when I was booking our Christmas tickets) so together those will make at least a BIT of a dent in one of May tickets for SD21's wedding.

Oh, and a free day off Everything is closed here today for the weather.

Too late to edit the above, so I'll add to it... The SW gift card got me thinking and wondering if they were projecting fares out to May when the wedding is... sure 'nough, they are, and since I'm flying out on a weekday and booking wayyyyy in advance, my points were enough to fly me and both kids out for FREE!!! (Well, I have to pay $15 in security fees, but those went on my SW rewards card for more free points... )

I'm pretty stoked... cash price on those tickets was $1128!!! Hubs, as usual, is un-impressed...

Hubs will be travelling down earlier (kids are in school) and is maybe/maybe not flying back with us, so we'll wait to book his flights until after we return from our Christmas trip... then we'll combine the points from all of our accounts (that don't post until we return from Christmas) with the credit card rewards that will post around that time and use the MCR gift cards (once the second one arrives) to buy points... Hubs' ticket should be cheap, if not entirely free... just depends on how things play out.

    Stoked.
